Championship outfit Nottingham Forest were extremely active in the summer transfer market, with boss Aitor Karanka signing a plethora of new players.
The Reds have made a decent start to the 2018/19 campaign. Wednesday’s win at Bolton Wanderers showed clear signs that the new players are starting to click into gear.
Jack Robinson was one summer signing who slipped under the radar somewhat, with more emphasis and excitement surrounding some of the bigger names which were signed by the club.

The 25-year-old penned terms at the City Ground on a free transfer after his contract with Queens Park Rangers expired at the end of last season.
It took the ex-Liverpool left-back five league fixtures to earn a start under Karanka, but since then he hasn’t looked back and is now an unsung hero of the Forest back four.
Robinson has quashed any initial fears that he might be an underwhelming addition to the Reds’ ranks, showcasing a string of fine performances that boast tough-tackling and the ability to read the game telepathically.
Left-back has been something of a problematic position in recent years for Forest. Robinson’s form right now, however, is going a long way towards those days becoming a fixture of the past.
All promotion winning teams need a solid back four and it is safe to say at present that the Reds have no issue whatsoever with the left-hand side of their back four.
Robinson was a fan favourite during his three-year spell at Loftus Road and it’s easy to see why. The versatile performer is a consistent player and his determination qualities are now seeing him become a massively underrated member of the Forest squad.
