West Ham United have submitted a new bid for Hans Vanaken, according to Fabrizio Romano.
However, the transfer insider claims the latest Hammers offer is still “not enough” to convince Club Brugge.
West Ham have made seven signings so far this summer, the latest of which joined on Tuesday.

The Hammers have signed Italy left-back Emerson Palmieri from Chelsea in a £15million deal.
West Ham are now pushing for an eighth in Vanaken, who captains Brugge.
However, they’ve not been successful so far.
The Hammers reportedly saw an initial £8.5million bid for Vanaken rejected by the Belgian giants.
And on Tuesday, West Ham submitted an €11m (£9.3m) offer, with the same outcome, according to Romano.
West Ham have begun the season badly, sitting bottom of the Premier League table without a goal to their name.
And Vanaken – who Brugge boss Carl Hoefkens has deemed “incredible” – would be a great addition for the Hammers.
The 21-cap Belgium international operates primarily in an attacking midfield role and boasts a great scoring record.
Vanaken has registered an impressive 102 goals and 72 assists in 344 appearances across all competitions.
Better still, the 29-year-old is keen on a switch to West Ham.
“This may be my last chance to play abroad one day, and I want to take it,” he said in an interview with RTBF.
“A lot has already been written about it. It’s no longer a surprise,
“I’ve thought about it. The club in question, West Ham, is interested, and so am I.
“Discussions with Club Brugge will begin on Monday. We’ll see where that takes us!”
However, West Ham will have to up their offer considerably if they want to get Vanaken in claret and blue.
