Stuart McKinstry has joined a host of Leeds United fans in lauding Pascal Struijk on Twitter after the defender scored a goal as the under-23s beat Liverpool 4-0 on Sunday.
Mark Jackson’s men stormed to an emphatic victory over the Reds this weekend. Understandably, much of the talk following the game surrounds Joe Gelhardt and his stunning brace.

The forward scored one from around 45 yards. And he then fizzed another into the corner from not much closer after the break.
Gelhardt has done his chances of making his first-team debut no harm at all. But several others did extremely well in the win.
One of those who has been lauded on social media is Struijk. The 22-year-old scored Leeds’ third with an excellent header from a corner.

Of course, Struijk was a standout name on the team-sheet. He was included after serving the first of his three-game ban following the defeat to Liverpool.
It was not lost on many that the Reds’ youngsters were the opponents as Struijk made his first under-23 appearance for some time.
His header was very reminiscent of the goal he scored away at Arsenal last season. Once again, he made a smart run and powered home a strong header from close range.
McKinstry was one of those to laud Struijk on social media. Meanwhile, several supporters have praised the way he has bounced back from last weekend.
