Stuart Dallas has warned everyone of putting too much pressure on Leeds United centre-forward Patrick Bamford and is convinced he will go on strong goalscoring runs.
With Kemar Roofe exiting Elland Road this summer, a lot of expectation has fallen on the shoulders of Bamford to deliver in front of goal.
The 25-year-old has one goal in the opening two league games, but could have had more and his finishing can be a little erratic at times.
He netted 10 times in just 25 games across all competitions last season and will hope for some better injury luck.
Eddie Nketiah, 20, has arrived on a season-long loan from Arsenal too and the English striker will be hoping make his impact at Elland Road.
Dallas, who is mainly used now as a defender at full-back, has explained that it’s up to the entire team to chip in to avoid putting too much pressure on left-footed striker Bamford.
“It’s another case of not putting too much pressure on Pat (Bamford). It’s important we don’t just rely on him all the time, he’s a confident lad. He can miss a few one week but then go and score next week,” Dallas said, as quoted by the Yorkshire Evening Post.

TBR’s View:
Leeds will have the likes of Pablo Hernandez and Mateusz Klich chip in with a decent amount of goals this season, but ultimately they may need a 20-goal striker to help them achieve promotion from the Championship.
Bamford on his day can be a real hit leading the Whites frontline, but there is concern about his consistency.
Rising talent Nketiah will feel he’s got what it takes to score plenty during his first crack at Championship level, so the competition between the forward pair should spur each other on.
