With Luke Ayling and Gaetano Berardi out injured, Leeds United have had a mini crisis at the back.
Marcelo Bielsa has been forced into deploying Stuart Dallas and Ezgjan Alioski – both natural wingers – in the full-back role.
And while Dallas has always given his all when playing there, he is simply not a defender.
He took some blame for three of West Brom’s four goals in Leeds’ last league outing and it was mainly his positioning which let him down.
But he was given a chance to prove why he should be in the starting line-up for Leeds during the international break.
Northern Ireland manager Michael O’Neill placed his faith in Dallas, deploying him at left-back against Austria.

And the 27-year-old actually had quite a good game in that position with Bielsa surely checking his progress.
But in the 93rd minute, his costly error led to a stoppage time winner from Austria.
The Leeds winger hesitated on the ball and was dispossessed on the halfway line, leaving his defence exposed.
Marko Arnautovic fed the ball to Valentino Lazaro, who scored the winner with the last kick of the game.
This was further proof that Dallas is not cut out for the starting full-back role at Leeds.
Bielsa should either move him further forward as an out-and-out winger or drop him to the bench.
