Stuart Dallas has given big praise for the way summer signing Raphinha has started his Leeds United career, as well as revealing he’s looking impressive behind the scenes in training.
Versatile Leeds man Dallas is part of a core group of players that achieved promotion from the Championship last season, but the Whites made a few eye-catching signings in the transfer window to boost the squad for the Premier League.
Raphinha, who joined from French club Lille, is a skilful attacker that is beginning to become a real fan favourite at Elland Road and looks a great addition to the Premier League.
The 23-year-old speedster is a flair attacker that loves the ball to feet, where he’s not afraid to be adventurous going forward and try hurt opponents.
He is a left-footed winger that usually cuts infield from the right wing and showed what he can do by scoring the winner in the previous game during the victory against Everton.
Dallas has explained that his Leeds teammate has caught his eye on the training ground:
“He’s settled in really well… It’s important we don’t put too much pressure on him. He’s still learning here,” Dallas told LUTV.
“He’s been brilliant since he came in. Everyday in training he’s consistent, his performances are brilliant and he’s got a bit of pace as well.”

TBR’s View:
Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds team are receiving so many admirers for the way they’ve performed in the first quarter of the season, as they commit so many players forward in attack and most importantly they play some real slick football.
It looks like they’ve added even more quality options to their XI, with right-winger Raphinha dislodging Helder Costa for the meantime from the side.
Brazilian wide player Raphinha will be desperate to grow on his performance against Everton and up next is a trip to Chelsea on Saturday night in the Premier League.
