A number of Newcastle United fans have welcomed speculation linking the Magpies with Sander Berge.
According to Sky Sports, Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has drawn up a lengthy transfer wishlist.
One of the names on said list is the Sheffield United midfielder and Norway international.

Berge was an important part of the Blades side that sealed a Premier League top-half finish in 2019-20.
However, the 23-year-old was on the sidelines for more than four months due to a hamstring injury.
His club missed him as they lost their battle against relegation in their second top-flight season.
Berge has continued to struggle with a hamstring problem this season and has just eight appearances for the Blades.
Nonetheless, the 6ft 4in colossus is now back on the pitch and looking great once again.
After all, Berge is a player of the highest calibre who former boss Chris Wilder deemed a “perfect midfielder”.
A reported £35million release clause makes him fairly pricey, but that’s no longer an issue for Newcastle.
In addition, Berge would be a realistic target.
The Blades would surely be tempted by such a large fee, while the player himself would be stepping back into the top flight.
Here’s what some Newcastle fans have made of the Berge speculation:
Bro I promise you before Sheffield he was wanted by massive clubs, he took a injury and it just hasn't worked out

He would instantly walk into our team. Seems like the perfect signing for the Toon. Ball playing unit with PL and Championship experience. Our defence is bad but a lot of that is to do with the way teams can just walk straight through our MF.
