'Straight into the team': Some Everton fans buzzing over who they've spotted in training today
Everton fans are excited to see Toffees duo Ben Godfrey and Dominic Calvert-Lewin back in training at Finch Farm.
Godfrey has yet to feature in a game this season, while Calvert-Lewin had to pull out of England duty due to a thigh strain.
However, both Everton players were pictured in training on Thursday, the two challenging for a header.
With Everton set to host Burnley at Goodison Park on Monday night, seeing Godfrey and Calvert-Lewin in training is a major boost.
The Toffees have begun the season very well, with two wins and a draw from three Premier League games.
In addition, Everton have also reached the third round of the League Cup after beating Huddersfield away on 24 August.
A great springboard for the Blues to build on and, with players set to return, it bodes well for the weeks to come.
Here is what some Everton fans made of Godfrey and Calvert-Lewin in training-ground action:

I hope Ben will be fit and healthy and ready to face Burnley. We will need to combat their pace on the flanks and stop their aggressive strikers space, especially from set pieces. It is a game where we will need to press with controlled intensity and close McNeil down effectively— Roger Williams (@RogerWi33581994) September 9, 2021
