'Stop moaning'; 'Massive turn around': Some Celtic fans delighted as transfer window slams shut
After a long summer, the transfer window has slammed shut and Celtic have secured the signatures of 12 new players (Club website).
New manager Ange Postecoglou has revamped his squad and has new signings Kyogo Furuhashi and Liel Abada already off the mark and impressing.

The Bhoys are delighted with their summer foray into the market.
Postecoglou has brought in reinforcements all across the pitch from defence to attack and the club themselves are clearly pleased with themselves.
Chief Executive Dom McKay, speaking about the business conducted this summer, claimed:
“We have strengthened the squad in all areas of the pitch, with international-level talent, and while naturally disappointed to see some faces head in the opposite direction, we wish them every success in their next ventures.”
It is hard to disagree with McKay. The new signings are already impressing, with Kyogo scoring two of the Hoops’ three goals as they progressed past AZ Alkmaar into the Europa League.
Time will tell if the 12 new faces at Parkhead can go further and help return the Scottish Premiership title to the green and white side of Glasgow, but the fans are hopeful.
As well as the incomings, there have been some notable departures, particularly Kristoffer Ajer and Odsonne Edouard.
However, it seems many fans are okay with this as the quality of those who have arrived offsets those who have exited the club.

I don’t think it’s been pish! Its a start of. Rebuild which can’t happen overnight. Time to get behind the team and the gaffer and stop moaning— Nicky (@NickyNackyNoooo) September 1, 2021
As well as he possibly could have— KyogoPostecoglou (@KP333367) September 1, 2021
Unfortunately the previous regime have left us lacking depth in 2 positions even with 12 coming in. Though I’m sure Ange will exploit the Asian market more in January
Sure we’ll win something this year and take the league to the wire

Superb window… 6 full internationalists, former England no.1, 2 very exciting young players and cover for every position. Excellent well done— Kyogo (@greengables2019) September 1, 2021
Massive turn around in squad, let’s hope they can now gel and be successful.— IGCeltic (@CelticIg) September 1, 2021
Just a wee reminder that Ange said he’ll turn his mind to background staff after the window closes
if Ange is happy, I’m happy! Now get those J league targets identified for January— Steve Hoops (@Shoops67) September 1, 2021
Well done. Credit when due as they got plenty stick when weeks were passing by with no activity. A massive overhaul was needed and we are now getting there.— Andy Blackall (@AndyHighland1) September 1, 2021
Last season, total shambles, no player looked like they wanted to be there.— Clash City Rocker (@clash_rocker) September 1, 2021
1 window in, squad gutted, ten in, Ralston, Welsh looking good.
Be honest, lots of good work done in such a short space of time.
