Arsenal fans on social media are surprised by new reports that Joe Willock could be in contention to be called up for the England squad ahead of this summer’s EUROs.

The Chronicle report that England scouts are keeping an eye on the 21-year-old Hale End academy graduate, with Gareth Southgate this summer able to select a 26-man squad rather than the usual 23, opening multiple doors for players who were previously out of contention for a call up back into the frame, and Willock’s form could lead him into the conversation.
