Stoke fans want Tom Ince to exit, amid reported interest from Celtic and Rangers

Scottish giants Celtic and Rangers are both being linked with Stoke City attacker Tom Ince – and some fans of the English Championship club have reacted on Twitter by claiming they would like to see him leave.

According to TEAMtalk, Stoke manager Michael O’Neill does not consider the 28-year-old to be part of his plans moving forward and has informed him he can leave on loan.

It is claimed that Premier League side West Brom are considering a move for the English winger, but Old firm duo Celtic and Rangers have both expressed an interest in him.

Celtic, who are bidding to win a league title for a 10th consecutive year, have commonly used a three at the back system and that would beg the question of where the winger would fit into the system.

Meanwhile, Rangers look a better fit on paper and it would be interesting to see the speedster at Ibrox.

Ince, 28, has been unable to perform at his best for Stoke since he joined them for £10million (BBC) two years ago, albeit he’s shown flashes of brilliance.

The left-footer is a quick right-winger that likes to cut inside and he’s proven in the past he can be a serious goalscoring threat during spells with Blackpool and Derby County.

A selection of Stoke supporters on social media have made it clear they would like to see Ince offloaded and he’s been frozen out in the early stages of the new season.
