Stoke fans react to completing the loan signing of Tottenham youngster Jack Clarke
Stoke City completed the loan signing of Tottenham youngster Jack Clarke on Thursday afternoon – and some of their fans on Twitter went wild about the news.
The 20-year-old attacker has played just three first-team games this season for Spurs, which is why they’ve decided to loan him out for the rest of the campaign.
Since joining from Leeds United in 2019, Clarke has failed to make a big impact yet with Spurs and his only senior appearances have come this season.
The right-winger spent last year on loan at both Leeds and Queens Park Rangers, where again he struggled for regular minutes.
But the talented wide player is blessed with pace and trickery, plus he’s represented England’s Under-20s age group.
He’s crying out for first-team minutes somewhere to try help his development and hopefully for him a switch to Stoke is exactly what he needs to progress.

A selection of Spurs supporters on social media believe Clarke could be a great signing for them.
They are a side sat just outside the play-off positions in the Championship, but some have suggested the loan signing of the Spurs winger could help them really push for promotion in the second half of the season.
Here are some Stoke fans discussing Clarke:
