Stoke fans impressed by performance of Tottenham loanee Jack Clarke
Tottenham loanee Jack Clarke made his first start for Stoke City on Friday night – and some fans of the Championship club were majorly impressed with his display.
Clarke, 20, was sent out on loan this month to Stoke, joining a team with promotion ambitions this year.
The attacker recently made two cameo performances for his new club, but was handed his first start last night in the 2-1 league defeat to Watford.
Despite ending up on the losing side, Clarke caught the eye during his 82 minutes on the pitch and it looks like he could force his way into the XI on a regular basis.
The right-winger hasn’t played a lot of first-team football recently, which is why it’s crucial he gets that at the bet365 Stadium.

A selection of Stoke supporters on social media believe that they have a really promising player now on their books in Clarke.
The Englishman is a skilful wide player with great dribbling, pace and agility, but in truth he’s yet to really put his name up in lights since Spurs signed him from Leeds.
He featured in just three first-team games during the first half of the season for Jose Mourinho’s side, but the next few months in the Championship will show a lot about him as a player.
Here are some Stoke fans discussing Clarke:

Clarke is class, probably down to him knowing the league better though, still yet to see much of Matondo yet!

Clarke should start every week based on just 45 mins. Powell has been immense up top, we need to get a little bit closer to him and have a bit of belief. Great half, hope we don’t regret not scoring whilst on top! #SCFC
