Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has praised Glen Kamara, with the midfielder on target during last night’s 3-0 victory over St Johnstone.
The Gers remain 16 points clear at the top of the Premiership with the win, with Celtic 2-0 victors over Ross County.

It was another highly efficient performance from Gerrard’s side who were no match for the Saints at McDiarmid Park.
Kemar Roofe and Ianis Hagi were also on the scoresheet in Perth, and Gerrard was delighted with his team’s showing after the game.
The 40-year-old noted ‘there were a lot of strong performances individually and collectively’, and Finland international Kamara came in for a nice word from his manager.

Gerrard said (via Rangers official): “Glen Kamara could have felt sorry for himself after what happened to him at the weekend, but he showed a fantastic attitude to come in and he was excellent over the 90 minutes alongside Davo [Steven Davis].”
Kamara, of course, was substituted at half-time against Motherwell in the previous game, but against St Johnstone he put in a commanding performance, and took his goal – only his second of the season – really nicely.
TBR’s View – Kamara shows how to respond
It is as Gerrard said. Kamara could easily have gotten the hump a bit for getting the hook early against Motherwell.

But the 25-year-old produced the exact kind of performance Gerrard would have wanted last night.
If that kind of thing becomes a trend with other Rangers players for the rest of the season, it’ll be very difficult indeed to look past them for the title.
