Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard believes that Tottenham Hotspur could have another “top player” on their hands in Dejan Kulusevski.
Antonio Conte’s front three of Kulusevski, Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane ran riot at Villa Park last night, as Spurs won 4-0 on a day both Manchester United and Arsenal lost.
It could prove to be a pivotal day in the race to finish in the all important fourth Champions League qualifying spot.
Kulusevski, who arrived in north London on the last day of the January transfer window alongside Juventus teammate Rodrigo Bentancur, has been a revelation under the Italian.

Prior to joining Spurs, the Sweden international had two goals and three assists from 27 appearances for the Old Lady this season.
But since making the move to the Premier League, the 21-year-old has three goals and six assists from 11 Premier League games.
The forward continued his fine form with a goal and an assist in the Midlands as his understanding and relationship with Son and Kane goes from strength to strength.
Kulusevski scored Spurs’ second with a pinpoint strike into the bottom corner through Tyrone Mings’ legs.
The 22-time Swedish international set Son up for his hat-trick with a cutback after putting Mings on his backside with some dazzling footwork.

Following his side’s defeat, Gerrard spoke in glowing terms about Son and Kane, as well as highlighting the level Kulusevski is capable of reaching.
Speaking via Football London, the former Rangers manager said: “They’ve got two world class players up top and the young lad from Juventus who could certainly be a top player.”
Tottenham have an option to buy Dejan Kulusevski at their earliest opportunity during the summer transfer window.
Under the terms of his loan deal, Spurs can buy him from Juventus for £25 million when the market restarts again in June.
And the Daily Mail report that is the club’s plan, given how well the Swede has settled into life in north London.
