Stephen Warnock believes Leeds United won’t be caught in the Championship promotion chase and praised Marcelo Bielsa’s record in charge.
Colin Murray put Bielsa’s record to Warnock on Quest, stating that he has won as many matches (39 from 67) the same as the previous three Leeds bosses put together, in 25 less games.
He said: “It’s incredible, isn’t it? It’s very impressive. To go to a club the size of Leeds and implement it, it’s been superb.
“No-one’s catching them two (Leeds and West Brom). The quality they’ve both got it superb. You look at Liverpool in the Premier League, running away with it, you ain’t catching Leeds and West Brom.”

TBR’s View – Leeds have a massive opportunity but promotion is seldom sealed in December
Everything is going swimmingly for Leeds right now, and they need to make hay while the going is good and try and put as much clear water between themselves and whoever is in third place as possible.
But promotion isn’t sealed in December. Leeds were top last Christmas and failed to go up, which will serve as a warning to everyone around the club.
It would take a brave man to bet against Leeds now, but there’s still a long way to go. Bielsa will know that and will leave the grand statements to the pundits, leaving his side to focus on the next game and little more.
