Stephan El Sharaawy, the young Italian winger of AC Milan has told Sports Mediaset that he has decided to stay at San Siro. The talented winger was signed by Milan from Genoa on 2011.
The winger was an integral part of Milan team that reached the knock-out stages of Champions League and came third in Serie A. El Sharaawy was in the starting eleven when Milan defeated Barcelona at San Siro. He assisted Sulley Muntari’s goal.
With Kevin Prince Boateng’s exit, Milan manager Allegri tried a new tactic and so El Sharaawy was benched against Cagliari. Balotelli played as the main striker and Ricardo Montolivo played just behind. Allegri did not want to stress El Sharaawy with his new tactic and so defended his decision to rest him.
With the arrival of Kaka from Real Madrid, El Sharaawy’s future at Milan was uncertain. Media claimed that El Sharaawy had drawn interests from Manchester City and Real Madrid, with bth the clubs ready to offer around 20 Million Euros for the Italian star.
But all this speculation have come to an end with El Sharaawy himself putting a full stop on the rumours. El Sharaawy extended his contract with Milan last year and this is due to run out in 2018.
