'Stay clear of him': Arsenal fans react as Romano suggests Aaron Ramsey wants return
Arsenal fans have been reacting on social media after Fabrizio Romano suggested that former midfielder, Aaron Ramsey, is keen on a return.
The respected transfer guru was speaking on the Arsenal Lounge and suggested that Ramsey, 30, is open to moving back to Arsenal after struggling in Turin with Juventus.
Ramsey moved to the Serie A giants on a big-money deal, signing on a free transfer a few seasons ago. But despite being in and around the first-team for most of his time with Juve, he has not quite had the impact he would have liked.
A number of injuries, coupled with the sheer talent the Italians have, has left Ramsey down the pecking order. Naturally, talk of a return to England and specifically, with Arsenal, was always going to come.
Gunners fans, though, don’t seem too keen on the idea if Twitter is anything to go by. Romano’s comments on Ramsey prompted a lot of discussion and it’s clear that some Arsenal fans see Ramsey as a step back.
Stay clear of him. We had the best out of him and that wasn’t only a 6 -8 month period. After that he just didn’t cut it

Yes Aaron Ramsey would make Arsenal a better team but if Arsenal want to progress they can’t sign players who are getting old and are getting more injuries than usually.

Please let’s not re-sign Ramsey. Really good player, top lad, but very much part of our history. Mind you if he were to sign for chelsea I’d be right up for re-signing him in a few years time.

We need this club to be ambitious again, not to be the last stop shop for aged footballers to come in and get their last big contract at 😴🥱

“Many injuries”. Yes he was a fantastic player for us but cmon, we cant be going for an injury prone player who we let go for free.

Even without injuries I wouldn’t bring him back,if we couldn’t do it with Cesc when he was still at his best then why Ramsey.
