Southampton and neutral fans alike have waxed lyrical about Mohamed Elyounoussi’s latest display for Norway.
The Saints ace scored a superb brace to help his nation claim a 2-0 win over Montenegro in World Cup qualifying.
Norway were without Erling Braut Haaland due to injury, but Elyounoussi made sure his absence wasn’t felt too much.

The Southampton attacker opened the scoring in the 29th minute of the Group G clash in Oslo.
Elyounoussi nodded home from close range after Stefan Strandberg headed the ball back across goal from a deep cross.
The 27-year-old then made sure of victory deep into injury time when he curled a brilliant right-footed shot into the bottom corner from 20 yards.
Elyounoussi’s heroics kept alive Norway’s s hopes of making the World Cup finals for the first time since 1998.
The Norwegians sit second in Group G on 17 points, two points behind leaders Netherlands and two ahead of third-placed Turkey with two games left.
