Tottenham Hotspur academy defender Maksim Paskotsi made his senior debut for Estonia in last night’s World Cup qualifier.
The 18-year-old centre-back has been making waves in the Spurs academy since joining in September last year from Estonia’s Flora Tallinn.
Paskotsi, who had already debuted for Flora’s senior team, marked his debut for Spurs’ Under-18s with a goal, an assist and a clean sheet against Fulham in October.

He has made 14 appearances for Spurs in the U18 Premier League, scoring five goals – a superb tally for a centre-back.
And last night, Paskotsi started for Estonia in their game against the Czech Republic, a 6-2 defeat with West Ham’s in-form midfielder Tomas Soucek scoring a hat-trick.
Admittedly it was a baptism of fire against a Czech side featuring some dangerous players, but he played well, putting in some good challenges and making last-ditch clearances.
