Tottenham fans have been celebrating on social media and calling for Gareth Bale to get the nod this weekend, as Jose Mourinho confirmed his return to fitness.

Bale had missed the Liverpool fixture but speaking before the clash with Leicester this weekend, Jose Mourinho confirmed that Bale is now fit and ready for selection against the Foxes.

Fellow winger, Steven Bergwijn, missed a number of chances at Anfield and since then, a lot of discussion has been had around whether or not Bale would have taken those opportunities.

The Welshman’s return is a timely boost and has got plenty of Spurs fans talking on Twitter. Clearly, Bale is still a player those in north London very much expect a lot from.
