A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to welcome Roberto Firmino’s return to training and call for him to feature against Arsenal on Saturday night.
The 29-year-old has missed the Reds’ last three games due to a knee injury, a rare period of absence for a player who had not been out of action in the previous two years.
Firmino missed the defeat to Fulham and subsequent victories over RB Leipzig and Wolves, during which Diogo Jota claimed a goal and an assist.

Admittedly, Firmino hasn’t had the best of seasons, and Jota has arguably staked a bigger claim to start in the Liverpool front line.
However, the Brazilian has a fantastic record against Arsenal – eight goals and three assists from 11 Premier League games.
In addition, Liverpool take on Real Madrid in the Champions League just three days later, so some fans reckon Klopp should rest Jota for that game.
