According to reports in the French media, Everton have accepted that star midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye is heading to Paris Saint-Germain.
As per Le 10 Sport, Everton have lined up Stanislav Lobotka as their replacement for PSG-bound Gueye.
Lobotka plays for Celta Vigo in La Liga but he might be keen to swap a Spanish relegation battle for a push for 7th with Everton.
The Slovakia international is far from the finished product but he has the potential to play the holding role at Everton.
Gueye will be very tough to replace. According to Who Scored, the 29-year-old has made 37 blocks, 47 interceptions and a staggering 83 tackles in 20 Premier League outings.
The Senegal international provides a lot of protection for Everton’s back four and he will be sorely missed if he leaves.

Like Gueye, Lobotka plays the defensive midfield role linking the defence and the more advanced central midfielders.
The 24-year-old’s numbers are not as impressive as Gueye’s, though. In 14 La Liga matches, he has only managed five tackles and 13 interceptions, as per Who Scored.
Lobotka will need to adjust to English football quickly and improve his defensive work if he is to fill the void left by Gueye.
But with age on his side, he is a younger alternative to Gueye and Everton obviously feel that he is the long-term successor in that role.
