Celta Vigo midfielder Stanislav Lobotka has confirmed he is not sure if he will remain at the club this summer. As reported by La Voz De Galicia, the Slovakia international admits there is interest from other Spanish teams and those in Germany.

“The transfer period is long and it is difficult to say if I am going to stay in Vigo or not. While it is not official otherwise, I’m still a Celta player.”

However, plenty of English teams have also been linked with the player in recent times.

One such team is West Ham United. The Sunday Mirror (27/01/2019; pg 67) reported that West Ham were keen on a potential loan move for the player.

So should West Ham go back in for the player this summer?

The 24-year-old has been one of Celta’s best players for the past two seasons, helping them survive a relegation battle in La Liga last term.

As revealed to FCInterNews in January by his agent, Lobotka has a release clause in his deal worth around €35 million (£31 million) which would undoubtedly be too rich a fee for the Hammers to gamble.

West Ham, however, do need to bring in central midfield reinforcements and Lobotka could be a brilliant recruit at the right price or on loan.
