Stan Collymore has told Empire of the Kop that Andy Robertson was a 4/10 against West Ham, and Jurgen Klopp should drop the Liverpool star.
West Ham secured a brilliant 3-2 win over Liverpool on Sunday evening at the London Stadium. Liverpool failed to cope with the Hammers.
The Merseyside outfit simply could not deal with West Ham’s prowess from set pieces – or their quick counter attacking. Alisson scored an own goal.
Kurt Zouma also scored from a set-piece, while Jarrod Bowen’s brilliant run found Pablo Fornals – who scored. Liverpool were tactically dismantled.
That is, despite goals from Trent Alexander-Arnold and Divock Origi. Collymore hammered Scotland captain Robertson after the match.

“Disappointments? Robbo,” Collymore said. “He was playing against a rookie, but didn’t go past the full-back and put crosses in.
“If we’re lauding Trent Alexander-Arnold, 9/10, then Robertson – 4 or 5/10. Is Tsimikas is playing better, he must play. We all know he is world class.”
Collymore on Robertson: Trent form compounding Liverpool star’s dip
The two have always gone hand in hand in terms of stats. Competing for more assists, competing for goals, competing for plenty of other accolades.
But this season, Alexander-Arnold is miles ahead. Playing 12 times this season, Alexander-Arnold has scored once and created seven more.
Robertson, meanwhile, has also played 12 times – but failed to score and only creating two goals. In an attacking sense, he is out of form.
But the form of Robertson is a worry for Liverpool, given how effective the creation of their full-backs is and can be. Things need to change.
Does he need a rest and to be replaced by £11million (TeamTalk) Konstantinos Tsimikas? Perhaps.
