With this win, Tottenham ensured that they will finish above Arsenal for the first time since 1995, 22 years ago. More than that, Spurs blew Arsenal away with their free flowing and attacking football.

Lining up with the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Eric Dier and more, it is clear that this side assembled by Mauricio Pochettino is not even at their peak with an every age of 25.3 years.

Whilst Arsenal seem to be in a state of terminal decline, Tottenham are in a state of continual improvement as they push Chelsea as their closest challengers in the race for the Premier League title.

This may have been the first time in 22 years that Tottenham have finished higher than Arsenal, but you wouldn’t bet against it being quite a long time until Saint Totteringham’s Day make a return.
