Tottenham Hotspur academy graduate Anthony Georgiou has taken to Instagram with a farewell message after sealing a permanent move away from Spurs.
The 23-year-old winger rose through the ranks at Tottenham, but failed to break into the first team.
Georgiou made just one Spurs senior appearance, a six-minute cameo in a Champions League group game against APOEL Nicosia in 2017.
While on Tottenham’s books, he made several loan moves, playing for Ipswich and Bolton in England, plus Levante in Spain.
On Thursday, Spurs announced that Georgiou – whose contract was up at the end of the season – had completed a move to Cypriot First Division side AEL Limassol.
And on Friday, the Cyprus international thanked everyone at Spurs and expressed his gratitude for all he learned throughout his 11 years at the club.
AEL have won six Cypriot First Division titles, the latest in 2012, and have also won the Cypriot Cup six times.
They currently sit third in the top flight on 41 points from 20 games.
