Spurs want Hulk on a season-long deal from Zenit St. Petersburg
Brazilian forward Hulk, who plays for the Russian out-fit Zenit St. Petersburg could be set to make his English Premier League debut. Tottenham Hotspurs are interested to add Hulk to their squad. Tottenham have already spent 107M Euros on signing players. Tottenham are looking forward to sign Hulk on a season long loan.
Hulk played in Japan before he moved to FC Porto. This was Hulk’s entry to Europe before which he had only played for clubs in South America and Japan.
After spending four successful seasons at FC Porto, Hulk was purchased by Zenit for a whooping sum of 40 Million Euros.
Hulk also represented Brazil in 2013 Confederations Cup but he didn’t manage to get his name on the scores sheet.
A move to Spurs would help him regain his lost form as he faces stern challenges in the Premier League. Also it would help Spurs manage themselves without their ex-star Gareth Bale, who was unveiled at Santiago Bernabue a few hours ago.
Zenit are asking 10M Euros per season for Hulk if they are letting him join Tottenham. Tottenham might find it a small sum as they have more than enough to spend from the money obtained from Bale’s move to Madrid.
Andre Villas Boas will be looking forward to join with Hulk once again. Hulk was a part of the FC Porto team that lifted the Europa Cup a few years ago under AVB.
