Tottenham Hotspur continued their resurgence under Antonio Conte with a 3-0 hammering of Crystal Palace on Boxing Day.

Spurs are now unbeaten in five games in all competitions and have won their last two.

Harry Kane, Lucas Moura and Son Heung-in were on target against the Eagles, who had Wilfried Zaha sent off.

Meanwhile, Emerson Royal had arguably his best game in a Tottenham shirt.

The 22-year-old has taken some time to find his feet following his summer move to Spurs.

But under Conte, he’s coming in leaps and bounds, which bodes well for 2022.

Emerson was influential in Tottenham’s first two goals.

He released Lucas with a fine pass for the first and crossed for his compatriot for the second.

Emerson then whipped in another delivery for Lucas late on, only for the latter to fire over.

Emerson’s stats from the game (Whoscored) make for impressive reading.

The £26million man had 91 touches and made 56 passes, including four key passes.

His passing accuracy was 91.1 percent, and he delivered five crosses and two long balls.

Emerson also won two aerial duels and made six tackles and two clearances.

Conte will be happy with the summer signing’s display and plenty of Spurs fans will surely be pleased with his progress as well.
