Spurs have been linked with Gleison Bremer ahead of the January transfer window.
With 2022 on the horizon and the window opening, there is scope for Tottenham to bolster their ranks.
In particular, the Spurs defence could do with strengthening, especially after Cristian Romero’s injury.
Last week, Calciomercato claimed that Torino centre-back Bremer is one of Fabio Paratici’s top targets.

Now, according to Torino Granata, Spurs are leading the race for the 24-year-old Brazilian.
The Italian outfit’s board is reportedly listening to offers for Bremer, whose contract runs out in 2023.
They want to avoid what happened with Andrea Belotti, whose deal expires in the summer.
And Tottenham are reportedly “above all” other clubs in terms of the most concrete interest in Bremer.
Indeed, the outlet claims that Spurs are “becoming insistent” over trying to land the defender.
They also claim Tottenham are willing to pay more than 20m euros (£17m) – Torino’s price tag – for Bremer.

Spurs would be landing an “incredible” defender in transfer window
Bremer has impressed for his club since arriving in 2018, making 92 appearances.
The 6ft 2in ace also has a superb goal contribution tally for a centre-back – 12 goals and five assists.
Bremer is a tactically flexible, front-foot defender (90Min) who’s got plenty of years ahead of him.
Indeed, Liverpool were linked with him earlier this year, testament to his quality.
Some Spurs fans have already indicated how much they’d love to sign Bremer.
