A number of Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from The Sun claiming that the club are confident of signing Takehiro Tomiyasu in the transfer window.
Tottenham may still be looking for their next manager. But it appears that Fabio Paratici is still pressing ahead with his transfer plans.

And perhaps the first signing of Paratici’s spell could come in the form of Tomiyasu.
According to The Sun, Tottenham are confident of signing the £15 million-rated Japan international. The Daily Mail meanwhile, claimed that talks were already underway.

Tomiyasu made 31 appearances in Serie A with Bologna last season. He predominantly played at centre-back, but also featured regularly at right-back.

And it seems that many of the Spurs fans are delighted with the links with the youngster.
Admittedly, some seemed underwhelmed. He is not a household name in England at this stage of his career.
And the fee involved in a potential move hardly suggests that all of Tottenham’s defensive issues are likely to be addressed by his arrival.
However, those who have seen him a little more regularly believe that he is a player with a lot of potential.

With that in mind, here is how some of the fans have reacted to the reports…
