Tottenham Hotspur will be going on a mini-tour of South Korea as part of Antonio Conte’s first pre-season in charge.
Obviously, Son Heung-min will be the star attraction when Spurs go there and the Sun is reporting that a huge security operation is needed.
The report also says that Son’s Spurs teammates are already joking with him in training about the type of reception he will get.

They say that Son will get something of a pop star’s welcome, given his popularity and that they will be treated like huge celebrities too.
Premier League teams tend to get a huge reception when they visit South Korea anyway, and Son’s presence will take that to a new level.
Many South Korean fans come to Spurs home games to see their flying wideman anyway, so that gives an idea of the reception he will get in his home country.

The local fans can create a raucous atmosphere during pre-season and clubs across the top flight will be hoping that this summer can mark their first money-spinning overseas tour of note since before the pandemic.
On the pitch, it is a real opportunity for Conte to do even more fitness work with his squad and get more of his ideas across, having had to try and implement his philosophy mid-season so far.
The Italian would hope as many new signings as possible would be involved, although Daniel Levy has a habit of leaving dealings late to get the best possible price, which doesn’t help his managers out.
