Spurs right-back helps loan club keep third clean sheet from four league games in top-of-the-table clash
Tottenham Hotspur right-back TJ Eyoma continues to shine and earn plaudits away from Spurs on loan this season.
The 20-year-old left Tottenham in August to link up on loan with Lincoln City.
The Imps consolidated their place in League One last season after earning promotion as League Two champions in 2019.
To date, Eyoma has made 34 appearances in all competitions this season, including 24 in the league.
His efforts have helped Lincoln go top of League One, three points clear of second-placed Hull City, who have played a game more.
Eyoma was in action on Tuesday night as the Imps played out a 0-0 draw in a top-of-the-table clash against the Tigers.
Despite being 50/50 before the game after illness, he was passed fit and did a steady job down the right, earning himself a 7/10 from Lincolnshire Live.
It was Eyoma’s third clean sheet from four league games, while over the course of the season, Lincoln have conceded just 20 goals from 26 in the league.
Eyoma’s efforts for Lincoln so far will certainly be giving the Spurs coaches food for thought.
The 6ft ace, who can play at both centre-half and right-back, made his Spurs senior debut against Tranmere in the 2019 FA Cup, and has been an ever-present at Under-23s level.
Given Tottenham’s issues at right-back, could Mourinho see him as a potential first-team option next season?
