Spurs predicted XI vs Crystal Palace: Emerson Royal and Bryan Gil start

Spurs return to Premier League action on Saturday when they travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace.

The game pits Nuno Espirito Santo’s flawless side against the team he was in talks with before he ended up at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Of course, Spurs’ preparations have been anything but ideal. The club has been one of the most affected by what was in happening in South America right now.

It appears that Cristian Romero, Giovani Lo Celso and Davinson Sanchez will not play against the Eagles after going on international duty.

And that may open up the door for Nuno to hand out a couple of full debuts against Palace.

Firstly, Emerson Royal may make his bow following his deadline day move. Japhet Tanganga must be a contender to play at centre-back with Romero and Sanchez out.

Joe Rodon could also come in after linking up with Wales. But Tanganga is surely the more likely.

And in the front three, Bryan Gil may make a first league start. Son Heung-min and Steven Bergwijn could be injury doubts after being away on international duty.

There is also a question mark over Oliver Skipp after he limped off for England’s under-21s this week. So Harry Winks may get the chance to add to his one minute of Premier League game-time.

Having said that, it would certainly delight a lot of the fans if Tanguy Ndombele got the nod if Skipp is not ready. But it may be too soon for the Frenchman.
