Tottenham Hotspur will hope to put their disappointing midweek defeat behind them as they seek to claw back some distance between themselves and the top of the Premier League table.
On Wednesday, Jose Mourinho’s charges were beaten 2-1 at Liverpool, who then proceeded to win 7-0 at Crystal Palace in Saturday’s early kickoff to go six points clear at the summit.
Spurs are in Sunday afternoon action as fellow high-flyers Leicester City come to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, hoping to leapfrog the North Londoners into second place.
So, who could Mourinho pick in his starting XI against Brendan Rodgers’ side?

In terms of fitness updates, Gareth Bale is back in the fold and there no fresh injury concerns coming out of the midweek defeat at Liverpool.
Mourinho went for a 4-4-2 against the Reds but could revert to his usual 4-2-3-1 against the Foxes.
Ben Davies started in midweek but Sergio Reguilon is likely to come back into the XI in place of the 27-year-old Welshman.
The rest of the back line will probably remain as it is, namely Hugo Lloris, Eric Dier, Toby Alderweireld and Serge Aurier.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Moussa Sissoko are Mourinho’s go-to central midfield pairing so they’ll likely stay put, while Tanguy Ndombele could return to the XI ahead of Giovani Lo Celso after the £200,000-a-week ace was left on the bench in midweek.
In attack, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min will keep their places – barring any late issues – and despite his disappointing display at Liverpool, Steven Bergwijn could go on the right as he does more tracking back – crucial against a dangerous opponent like Leicester.
Predicted Spurs starting XI v Leicester (4-2-3-1): Lloris; Aurier, Alderweireld, Dier, Reguilon; Sissoko, Hojbjerg; Bergwijn, Ndombele, Son; Kane
