Reported Tottenham Hotspur target Max Aarons has been tipped to play Champions League football next year.
The 21-year-old right-back has been a key player for Norwich over the past few years, clocking up 120 competitive senior appearances for Daniel Farke’s side.
Aarons enjoyed an amazing breakthrough season in 2018-19 for the Canaries, making 41 appearances in the Championship en route to the title.

He continued to shine in the Premier League and won plenty of plaudits, despite Norwich struggling as a whole and ultimately going back down to the second tier.
Given Aarons’ quality and potential, numerous clubs have been linked with his signature.
Eurosport claimed at the start of February that Spurs could swoop for the Canaries gem in the summer as a replacement for Serge Aurier.
Meanwhile, Sky Sports claimed in the same month that Everton were very interested in Aarons as a protege to captain Seamus Coleman.
And Norwich head of football development Steve Weaver says he wouldn’t be surprised if the Carrow Road prodigy was playing at the highest level this time next year.
“I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Max Aarons was playing Champions League football next year,” he told the Coaches’ Voice.
“I’m not sure there’s a ceiling for him. There hasn’t been a single part of his journey so far where he hasn’t been completely in control or looked completely comfortable.
“Growing up, it didn’t really matter where you played him – he was always just really, really good. Seven or eight out of 10, every single week.”
TBR View:
Aarons is a high-calibre player – “outstanding”, according to Daniel Farke – who’s got plenty of room to grow.
While Aarons is reportedly on a £5,000-a-week contract, there will be plenty of competition for his signature, with an apparent starting price of £30million.
But given his age, talent and potential, he certainly looks worth it.
