A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to praise Spurs loanee Oliver Skipp following his efforts for England’s Under-21s this past week.
The 20-year-old midfielder is one of the brightest players to come through the Tottenham academy in recent years, and has been sensational on loan at Norwich this season.
Skipp has made 38 Championship appearances for the Canaries and has been a key player in their pursuit of a return to the Premier League, currently eight points clear at the top of the table.

He also started all three games for Aidy Boothroyd’s side in the U21 European Championship group stage, the only midfielder to do so in the tournament.
Although England flattered to deceive as they were knocked out at the first hurdle, Skipp did well, particularly in the 2-1 win over Croatia, where he was tidy in possession and won the ball back on numerous occasions.
And there is plenty of enthusiasm amongst Spurs fans about what he’ll be able to do once he’s back in North London this summer:
