Spurs fans react to reported interest in Celtic starlet Ismaila Soro

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Mail this week claiming that Spurs are monitoring Ismaila Soro.

Daniel Levy, of course, has one clear priority for the coming weeks. Tottenham remain without a permanent manager after sacking Jose Mourinho last Monday.

Nevertheless, it appears that Spurs are pressing ahead with identifying potential targets ahead of the summer. And one of those on the radar is Celtic youngster Soro, according to the Mail.

It has been an interesting time for Soro since his move to Parkhead. He has looked impressive whenever he has been given a chance for the Hoops.

However, plenty of Celtic fans have been left baffled by the 22-year-old finding himself below Scott Brown in the pecking order.

That left many Hoops supporters scratching their heads as the links with Spurs emerged. And it seems that the Tottenham fans are just as confused.

Some who have seen Soro feature for Celtic feel that he has a lot of potential. And of course, he would presumably not cost as much as other possible targets.

However, others seem quite underwhelmed by the links. And they also cannot understand why Spurs may pursue a move anytime soon when a new manager could come in and potentially take the club down a different path.
