A number of Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Joachim Andersen after the centre-back’s display against Tottenham at the weekend.
For much of the summer, it appeared that there was a good chance that Andersen would end up moving to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

However, it was claimed in July that Nuno Espirito Santo had put an end to their interest in the Dane. Instead, he joined Crystal Palace.
And the 25-year-old has shown why Spurs should have stepped up their pursuit and made sure that they got a deal across the line when they had the chance.
Andersen was superb as the Eagles beat Nuno’s men on Saturday. He completed 51 passes, and won three tackles as Palace kept a comfortable clean sheet (Whoscored).

Tottenham have had real problems at the back in recent days. Cristian Romero and Davinson Sanchez were ruled out after going away on international duty.
Eric Dier meanwhile, had to be taken off at Selhurst Park with an injury. And, to compound the misery, Japhet Tanganga got himself sent off in the second-half.

With that in mind, here is what some of the Spurs fans made of Andersen’s display against them at the weekend…
