Spurs fans react to club’s reported plans to scout Leon Bailey
A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Mail this week suggesting that Spurs plan to scout Leon Bailey on Thursday.
Bailey continues to catch the eye with the Bundesliga side. He scored five goals in all competitions for Leverkusen in November.

The Daily Mail reports that the club’s final Europa League group-stage game will see scouts from Tottenham, Arsenal, Everton and Manchester United attend.
It is claimed that the quartet are considering moves for the 23-year-old next summer. However, it is suggested that his asking price of £36 million is set to increase as he continues to impress.

The news that he is on Spurs’ radar once again has gone down incredibly well amongst some of the supporters on social media.
Bailey is a hugely exciting talent. He has predominantly played on the right of a front three this season. But he is a player who can play in a number of roles across the forward line.
He also boasts frightening pace. And several fans have insisted that he would be the kind of player that they would love to see brought in.
Spurs look to be on the cusp of something special under Jose Mourinho. And signing someone like Bailey would arguably be a further statement of intent.
With that in mind, here is how some of the supporters have reacted to the reports…
I’d sell Lamela, he works hard but never has a consistent run of games due to injuries. What happened to the last player Spurs brought in from Leverkusen? 👀

Mentioned last week that I’d love to go back in for Bailey. We need to reduce the average age of our attackers and his speed could be so dangerous and our style can take him to another level. He can put in a shift too https://t.co/qdaAgwZX9w
