A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Tanguy Ndombele’s performance as Jose Mourinho’s men got back to winning ways at Aston Villa on Sunday.
Spurs went into the game off the back of a couple of hugely disappointing defeats. And that seemed to prompt Mourinho to spring some surprises with his team selection.

The decisions were vindicated. Tottenham scored either side of the break to move to within three points of the top four.
The likes of Joe Rodon and Carlos Vinicius stepped up against the Villans. But perhaps no player was more impressive than Ndombele.

The Frenchman came back into the starting lineup after coming off the bench on Thursday. And he went on to produce a masterclass in the middle of the park.
As shown by Whoscored, he completed six dribbles – double what the next best performer managed while he was on the pitch. Meanwhile, he also made three challenges.
There were some flashes of real brilliance from the 24-year-old, along with some moments of outrageous skill.
It was a performance that further highlighted that Ndombele is arguably one of the most naturally talented players within Mourinho’s squad.
And his display prompted plenty of fans to take to social media to heap praise on him. Many felt that he was the standout performer as Spurs secured a positive result.
