Spurs fans react on Twitter to reported interest in Leeds’s Kalvin Phillips
A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Mirror over the weekend suggesting that Spurs are one of the sides monitoring Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips ahead of next summer.
Jose Mourinho may have only just welcomed his latest signing through the door a few days ago, but it appears that the Tottenham boss is already making plans for a future window.

According to the Daily Mirror, both Spurs and Liverpool are keeping an eye on Phillips ahead of next summer. It is noted that Leeds already value the 24-year-old at £50 million.
The Mirror suggests that both clubs are willing to offer a contract that could see his £30,000-a-week wages more than doubled.

Phillips, of course, is now an England international. And he has been a crucial figure at Elland Road since Marcelo Bielsa arrived and converted him into a holding midfielder.
Understandably, there are some Spurs fans who are baffled seeing the rumour mill starting up again so soon after the previous deadline.
However, those willing to entertain the idea that Tottenham could be looking at Phillips seem to be very pleased about the links.
Many believe that he would be a fantastic signing for Mourinho’s men. He has not looked out of place in the Premier League or at international level.
And given that he has only just arrived on both stages, many believe that he has the potential to develop into an incredibly exciting player.
Here is how some of the supporters reacted to the links with Phillips…
I’ve watched him a lot this year. He’s very very good. A better progressive passer than he looks for England too (where options are limited)

Hes insane mate, great work rate and a great passing range… tbh he is a better defensive version of Winks without his level of dribbling

Would be incredible, but would rather see investment in a top tier CB to pair with Sanchez
