Spurs fans react on Twitter to Kurt Zouma reports

A number of Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from Sky Sports claiming that Tottenham are back in the running for Kurt Zouma.

Spurs have enjoyed an impressive window so far. And there is a very good feeling around the club with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side beating Manchester City on the opening weekend of the campaign.

But it appears that they are not done this summer.

Previously, Fabrizio Romano suggested that Zouma was a target should Spurs miss out on Cristian Romero.

Romero has since signed for Tottenham. But it seems that they remain open to the idea of signing Zouma.

According to Sky Sports, Chelsea want £25 million for the France international. Meanwhile, The Sun reported over the weekend that talks with West Ham had broken down over his £120,000-a-week wage demands.

So he would not come cheap. And for many Tottenham fans, they cannot see any way that such a deal could take place.

Several have insisted that Chelsea are not going to do business with Spurs. Others meanwhile, do not believe that he would be a worthwhile signing having fallen out of favour under Thomas Tuchel.

It is certainly a deal that few are expecting as the deadline looms.
