Spurs fans react on Twitter to Joachim Andersen interest reports

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from Football London claiming that Joachim Andersen is one of the names on Spurs’ radar ahead of the summer.

Jose Mourinho has been unable to settle on a centre-back pairing for the majority of the campaign. And according to Football London, signing a new defender is a priority for the upcoming window.

It is claimed in the report that Andersen is one of those on the club’s wishlist. The 24-year-old has been outstanding for Fulham for much of this season.

The Denmark international has played 24 times in the top flight since arriving on loan from Lyon. He became the French side’s record signing when he arrived in 2019 for around £25 million (via Daily Mail).

Football London does suggest that Fulham are likely to try and keep Andersen should they stay up. Meanwhile, Lyon are set to demand a big fee with Andersen tied down for three more years.

The links with Andersen have gone down incredibly well amongst some of the Tottenham fans on social media.

Many have clearly been impressed by the form that he has shown at Craven Cottage this season. And they feel that he could be a fantastic addition to Mourinho’s ranks.

With Joe Rodon in the squad already, it appears that several supporters could see him and Andersen forming a superb partnership for years to come.
