Spurs fans react on Twitter to Japhet Tanganga injury reports
A number of Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the London Evening Standard regarding an injury suffered by Japhet Tanganga.
It has been an incredibly frustrating season for the youngster, who did not make his first Premier League appearance for Tottenham until February.
He has dealt with several injuries. And unfortunately, it appears that he is now set for another spell on the sidelines.
The 22-year-old missed the final day win over Leicester at the weekend. And the London Evening Standard has now reported that he has suffered ankle ligament damage.
The problem occurred during the defeat to Aston Villa. And according to the report, he is set to be out for two months.
Sadly, that means that Tanganga is likely to miss the start of pre-season.
That is a huge blow for the academy graduate with a number of Spurs players likely setting their sights on making an immediate impression on the new manager.
Understandably, plenty of Tottenham fans have been left extremely disappointed by the news.
Tanganga has shown that he is one of the brightest prospects coming through in North London. However, he cannot seem to catch a bit of luck.
It certainly appears to be a worry for some that Tottenham may struggle to rely on Tanganga in the future if he cannot put these problems behind him.
With that in mind, here is how some of the supporters reacted to the reports…
