A number of Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to laud Dilan Markanday after the 19-year-old produced a superb performance for the under-23s in their draw with Chelsea on Monday.
Tottenham looked set for a disappointing defeat in their Premier League 2 opener. They were 2-0 down at half-time against the Blues.

However, they produced a brilliant fightback after the break. And they had a golden chance to secure a dramatic win.
Markanday got the first after a delightful move from the home side. He found the bottom corner after being played in.
J’Neil Bennett equalised. But Harvey White subsequently had a penalty saved before his subsequent effort was also kept out.

Nevertheless, plenty of the supporters have taken to social media to express their excitement about Markanday.
He ended last season in superb form. The versatile attacker scored twice and provided three assists in his last four games.
And he now looks to have picked up where he left off. Several Spurs fans insisted that he needs to be on the radar of Nuno Espirito Santo.
