A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Mail concerning the club’s admiration of Brendan Rodgers.
Spurs are certainly going through a tough period right now. They have lost four of their last five Premier League games. They are currently ninth in the table, six points off the top four.

Jose Mourinho’s position is not reportedly under any immediate threat. However, the Daily Mail reports that his situation could be reviewed in the summer, particularly if they miss out on securing European football.
Interestingly, the report adds that both Julian Nagelsmann and Rodgers have admirers in North London.

It does appear, based on the report, that appointing Rodgers is unlikely. The Mail suggests that Mourinho would be due a significant sum if he was let go. Meanwhile, Leicester City would be unlikely to let the Northern Irishman go on the cheap either.
Nagelsmann is certainly one of the most exciting managerial prospects working in Europe. But there appears to be plenty of Spurs fans who would like to see Rodgers arrive.
He has done a fantastic job at the King Power Stadium. Leicester sit third in the table. And they have played a superb brand of football on their way up the table.
