Spurs fans react as Oliver Skipp shines in England under-21 win

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to laud Oliver Skipp following his display as England’s under-21s strolled to an emphatic win on Tuesday night.

The Spurs youngster was one of the players brought into the starting lineup at Molineux. Aidy Boothroyd’s side had opened up a 10 point lead at the top of their qualifying group heading into the final fixture.

But that did not stop England storming to a comfortable victory over Albania. And Skipp produced a moment of magic for the home side’s third goal.

The 20-year-old slid a delicious through ball into the path of Jamal Musiala. The Bayern Munich prospect took full advantage to score a fantastic goal.

Plenty of Tottenham fans felt that Skipp was also outstanding at dictating the game in the middle of the park.

And for some, it was the latest reminder that the youngster is destined for an incredible future in North London.

The academy graduate has made a promising start to life out on loan with Norwich City. And several supporters have insisted that they were hugely impressed by his assist and his overall display.
