Spurs fans react as Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele start together

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to react to the lineup Jose Mourinho has named for the Europa League clash with LASK on Thursday – with the decision to start Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso together attracting the most attention.

It is little surprise to see Mourinho name a strong side. Spurs know that a point will put them through to the knockout stages of the competition with one game to go.

And Mourinho will be hoping to keep their current momentum going heading into Sunday’s North London derby.

Of course, their preparations have not been ideal. Mourinho confirmed ahead of the game that Harry Kane, Carlos Vinicius and Sergio Reguilon have joined Toby Alderweireld and Erik Lamela on the sidelines (via club’s official website).

But Tottenham have still named a very good side for the game in Austria.

And the news that Hojbjerg, Lo Celso and Ndombele will start together has gone down incredibly well.

Hojbjerg has been an incredible signing. Meanwhile, Ndombele looks to have taken his game to another level this season, and it has been Lo Celso who has often had to bide his time in Mourinho’s plans.

But the trio have all been named in the team for Thursday. And the supporters seemingly could not be happier.
