Spurs have a top talent in their ranks in Dennis Cirkin.

However, it looks as though Tottenham could soon be selling the 19-year-old left-back.

According to the Evening Standard, Sunderland are in talks with Spurs over Cirkin.

And football.london’s Alasdair Gold has claimed that Cirkin looks likely to leave Spurs.

The defender has reportedly turned down the offer of a new Tottenham contract.

Spurs’ loss could well be Sunderland’s gain as they prepare for another campaign in League One.

The Black Cats are currently light at left-back, and the prospect of signing Cirkin is one that fans are welcoming.

Spurs to sell Mourinho favourite?

Cirkin, who penned his first professional contract in 2019, is said to have a lot of fans at Spurs.

Former Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho rated Cirkin highly as well, deeming him a “kid with a lot of quality”.

Mourinho also said: “I like Dennis very, very much, he works really hard.”

The defender was on the bench for two Europa League games – against Royal Antwerp and Ludogorets – last season.
